According to the South China Morning Post, the nutritious Hakka Lei Cha was created during the warring Three Kingdoms period in Chinca to feed soldiers and keep them nimble and healthy.

Hakka Leipopo Lei Cha using traditional Hakka way to prepare the Rice, serve with French Bean, Cabbage, Tofu, Chinese Leek, Manis, Choy Sim, and Cai Poh to enhance the flavour, topping with Crunchy Peanuts and Fragrant Sesame Seeds.
